Mark Walker and the other speakers will discuss trends and techniques on reducing SWaP-C in electronic warfare and radar systems. Reduced size, weight, and power - cost (SWaP-C) describe nearly every military program’s requirements for electronics — be they tech refreshes or new Radar designs. System integrators want solutions with increased performance, lower power, and lower costs and they want them in the same or smaller footprint as the previous design. This is especially true in electronic warfare and radar systems. This webcast of embedded computing experts will cover how they are handling these challenges as well as the innovations that enable reduced SWaP-C in these applications.

For the past 19 years, Mark has enjoyed working with advanced systems and RF products at Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions (CAES) where he is currently the Radar / EW Market Area Director for the Business Development, Technology, and Strategy organization. He has held a variety of leadership positions throughout his 33-year career including  engineering management, system & applications engineering, operations, program management, and R&D.  Recently, Mark has been leading EW and Radar market areas with focus on advanced millimeter wave active array development and digitization strategy.
