ARLINGTON, Va.—Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions (CAES), a leading provider of mission critical electronic solutions, today announced the appointment of Stephen Sartwell as the company’s senior vice president of program and operations excellence.

Prior to joining CAES, Steve led the operations organization at L3Harris where he established standardized tools, processes and methodologies to improve performance and support a significant increase in production output. During his time at L3Harris, he held other leadership roles focused on manufacturing process and quality enhancements. Before joining L3 Harris, Steve held management positions at Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems, Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, Coleman Aerospace and Litton Laser Systems.

Steve holds a bachelor’s of science degree in production management from Florida Southern College, is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and graduate of the Wharton Executive Senior Leadership Program.
