Cobham announces the hiring of Paul Michaels to the position of Vice President, Security and Chief Security Officer effective May 29, 2018.
CRYSTAL CITY, VIRGINIA – Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions (CAES) announces the hiring of Paul Michaels to the position of Vice President, Security and Chief Security Officer effective May 29, 2018.
Michaels joins CAES as the lead on all security matters across the Sector including adherence to the National Industrial Security Program and Special Security Agreement (SSA). Overseeing corporate intellectual property and maintaining the security of sensitive information related to customers will also fall within his scope.

Michaels brings nearly two decades of security management experience in directing the identification, development, implementation, and maintenance of security processes, practices, and policies throughout organizations to reduce risks and limiting exposure and liability as related to facilities and employee security. He also developed multiple security programs supporting the Department of Defense and other federal agencies. Most recently, he served as the Executive Director for Security & Information Technology and Facility Security Officer at Westinghouse Government Services LLC.
A graduate of American Military University where he earned a M.A. degree, he holds a Bachelor of Science in management studies from University of Maryland University College.
